The philosophy of the Academy at Tobiano is to introduce, improve and maintain the game of golf for all of our guests and residents of Tobiano.

Our instruction will be personalized for every individual's needs and expectations in a non-intimidating atmosphere while utilizing the world-class practice facilities we have at Tobiano for our disposal. From golfers new to the game to low handicap amateurs, The Academy at Tobiano has programs implemented for every student's skill level and expectations for the end result of their desired level of play.

The instruction will be made flexible to ensure learning is at the pace of the individuals needs and our instructors will establish clear and attainable goals for each student to allow them to work on their game and understand the concepts taught when they are practicing on their own time.

2010 Instruction Rates and Packages

Instruction at The Academy at Tobiano will utilize the private practice tee at the opposite end of the driving range currently used by daily fee players and members. This ensures you will receive first class instruction in a private setting that will be comfortable and uninterrupted during the duration of your instruction session.

You will have the ability to utilize the practice area after your lesson and continue to work on the tasks at hand or chip and putt in our short game area. Taylor Made golf equipment is available for use if you do not have your own equipment or if you're thinking you need something new, our certified custom fit technicians will help you acquire exactly what you need to fit your golf swing.

Our Student to Instructor ratio will be kept small to ensure you are getting the most out of your session. We will use a 4:1 ratio model so it benefits everyone involved.

Playing Lessons - 9 Holes

This aspect of instruction is probably one of the most overlooked areas from a player's point of view. Our Academy at Tobiano Instruction Staff will help you “manage” your game on the golf course by demonstrating and discussing various options that occur in certain situations golfers are exposed to during their round each day. Recognizing and playing to your strengths will help you lower your scores at the end of the day.

The Academy at Tobiano encourages our younger generation of golfers to enjoy this great game as it teaches etiquette, camaraderie, and respect to others and their playing partners. Golf is a gentleman's game and we are excited to be able to bring youth in to the Tobiano family. Our junior clinics and private junior instruction is available to all levels of juniors and we encourage them to participate in what we have to offer. Let us show you how fun the game of golf can be.
