Golf Policies at Tobiano

Dress Code

All golfers and non-golfing riders must adhere to the following dress restrictions:

  1. Denim of any type or color is not permitted.
  2. Shorts must have at least a 5" inseam and hemmed bottoms.
  3. Shirts/tops must have a collar for men and a collar and/or sleeves for women.
  4. No jogging pants or nylon tracksuits are permitted.

Footwear Policy

Soft-spiked golf shoes or soft-soled shoes are mandatory on the course.

For your convenience, we do offer spike-change services ($20 + G.S.T.) where we can update traditional metal spikes and replace worn soft spikes. This process takes only a few minutes, and can be done once the golfer arrives at the course, prior to their round. Metal spikes will not be permitted on course.

Cancellation Policy

All Tobiano starting time changes and cancellations MUST be made at least 48 hours in advance. If your starting times are not cancelled at least 48 hours in advance, they will automatically be deducted from the credit card used at the time of booking.

Junior Golfers

An adult guardian golfer MUST accompany all junior golfers (ages 12-18). Players must have their own set of golf clubs and must get the approval of the golf services supervisor before they are allowed to play. Generally, if the junior has a certified handicap, this is an adequate assurance that they have a fundamental understanding of the rules and golf course etiquette. No junior will be allowed to operate a power car on his or her own.

Non-Golfing Riders

Due to golf volumes, players are limited to one non-golfing rider each. There is a charge of $20.00 per rider for 18 holes. Non-golfing riders must be over the age of 12. For safety reasons, small children and babies are not permitted on the golf course.

Rain Check Policy

Golfers, who are forced to quit mid-round due to inclement weather, will be provided a green fee credit (rain check) for the proportionate dollar amount to the number of holes played. For instance, if a golfer plays 5 holes, they will receive a refund card, redeemable for 13/18ths of the total amount that they paid for their green fee. This will be refunded to credit card used at the time of booking. Please speak to our Golf Shop staff prior to your round for complete terms and conditions regarding our rain checks.

Cart Policy

Carts are provided with state of the art G.P.S. System to assist in golfer enjoyment. There is a maximum of 2 players and 2 sets of clubs per golf cart. Guests must be over the age of 18 to drive a cart.

Evening Hours

Evening play times will change with the seasons during the year. Twilight hours will begin five hours prior to sundown.
