With greens perched on cliffs above the lake as if suspended in mid-air ('Infinity Greens' McBroom calls them), fairways funnelling down canyons, exciting carries over arroyos, white sand bunkers defining ridges dotted by sagebrush and cacti, and bent grass greens rolling like billiard tables, he designed an instant classic.
