Line Cook

Tobiano Golf Course is looking for ambitious hard working individuals who display a passion for the culinary arts.   

We are in a fast pace industry that requires you to think on your feet and problem solve on a daily basis.  We require individuals with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Summary of responsibilities

Reporting to the Head Chef, expectations, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:


Expectations

  • Comply with all health and safety standards and practices as set forth by Work safe and Food safe BC
  • Work in a team atmosphere to accomplish the goals set forth by the organization
  • Regular communication with the Head Chef and Front of House servers to ensure effective and efficient quality of product and service
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with all staff and guests

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Daily Food prep as instructed by the Head Chef
  • Assembling dishes according to the head Chefs recipes’ and specifications
  • Maintaining the sanitization and cleanliness of the food preparation area
  • Maintaining and keeping up with the organization and cleaning of dishes

Qualifications

  • Reliable means of transportation
  • Ability to work shifts – days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver objects that weigh upwards of 30lbs
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a line cook

Employment Terms

  • Seasonal positions (April – October) 24-40 hours per week
  • Wages based on experience
  • Complimentary golf privileges (restrictions apply)

Outside Services Attendant

Tobiano Golf Course is looking for outgoing, engaging, service oriented individuals to join our Golf Operations team.

We are in a fast pace industry that requires you to think on your feet and problem solve on a daily basis. We require individuals with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Summary of responsibilities

Reporting to the Outside Services Supervisor & Golf Shop Manager, expectations, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:


Expectations

  • Providing professional, friendly, outgoing and exceptional service to all guests
  • Work in a team atmosphere to accomplish the goals set forth by the organization
  • Regular communication with staff in all departments to ensure proper preparation for all guests
  • Communicating with all guest to ensure that they are made aware of all pertinent information on their day of play 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Properly managing the power cart fleet on a daily basis (staging, washing, stocking and storing of power carts)
  • Daily practice facility monitoring & maintenance (set up, take down, restocking, clean picks)
  • Maintain cleanliness of all outside areas surrounding the clubhouse
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and restocking of on course facilities on a daily basis
  • Working with the events coordinator to ensure proper execution of all events (set up, tear down etc)

Qualifications

  • Reliable means of transportation
  • Ability to work shifts – days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Golf knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver objects that weigh upwards of 30lbs
  • WHIMIS Certificate

Employment Terms

  • Seasonal positions (April – October) 24-40 hours per week
  • $13 hourly plus potential bonus
  • Uniform provided by the Golf Course
  • Complimentary golf privileges (restrictions apply)
