Accessibility

As of July 1st, BC is in Step 3 of its Restart Plan and we are thrilled to welcome visitors from across Canada.

The Government of Canada requires all travellers 12 years and 4 months of age and older to be fully vaccinated (14 days or more since the second dose) and show proof of vaccination to use federally regulated methods of travel.  More Details

Starting August 9, 2021 – the Canada – US Border will permit entry to fully vaccinated American citizens and permanent residents (currently residing in the US) for leisure travel. Starting September 7, 2021, international travellers are invited to visit. If you meet the entry criteria, fully vaccinated travellers do not have to quarantine upon arrival to Canada. Starting December 1, 2021 – Foreign nationals who have been in any of these countries within the previous 14 days will not be permitted entry into Canada: Botswana, Egypt, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zimbabwe.

Canadian citizens and permanent residents who have been in any of these 10 countries in the previous 14 days, will be subject to enhanced pre-entry and arrival testing, screening, and quarantine measures. More Details

Starting November 19, 2021 – As parts of British Columbia have been impacted by heavy rain and flooding, there are multiple highway closures and travel restrictions in place for impacted areas to ensure the movement of essential goods and services. In addition, there are temporary restrictions on vehicle fuel (gas and diesel) purchases in parts of the province. Learn more.

Tobiano’s clubhouse, proshop and Black Iron Club and Grill are wheelchair accessible, however the golf course’s steep slopes would be preventative for wheelchairs, however may be navigable for customized vehicles. Please inquire with the proshop prior to making a reservation to ensure accessibility.

Playability

Tobiano offers eight sets of tees as outlined on our Tobiano Scorecard with a slope rating of 115/126 from the forward Sage tees for men and ladies respectively to 134 for men from the Tour tee. Proper tee selection is encouraged for the most enjoyment of your round at Tobiano. Beginner golfers are encouraged to have developed a consistent golf swing and ball striking before playing Tobiano.

Power Carts

Power carts are mandatory at Tobiano given some significant distances from tee to green, and are enabled with Bluetooth speakers and Visage GPS

Accommodations and Golf Packages

There is currently no overnight accommodation available at Tobiano and as such we have partnered with numerous hotel partners in Kamloops to provide overnight accommodation and golf packages.
